Ok so I am using my Sager NP5790 then I get a shock on my arm which is on the right palm-rest. I just though oh it's just a coincidence. But now it's happening every other 10 seconds! What is wrong here...

What component is supposed to be there?

are you wearing wool or on a carpet or it could be a dry day.
it could be many things to cause static electricity. -

No I am not wearing wool or using the laptop on a carpet. It's a pretty windy day...
It justs hurts, I have like some kind of mark on my arm now... -
wow thats weird...
try to ground yourself to some metal (like from a table leg)
if you have a cheap wrist strap that has a ground cord (for electronic/soldering work), it should work as well. -
that can make him stop feeling the shocks
but if interally something is wrong, it won't be fixed
hence my question what components are located at that area? -
just being a science nerd, i have to add that it most likely doesnt have to do with wat part is RITE underneath where hes getting the shock... if the whole case is metal, its just as equally conductive at any part of the case...
sorry.. but my college science classES, plural, start tuesday -
yes, but he's touching it over there
+ electricity has the capability of travelling through air. I don't know if that's the case here, of course, but I imagine if electricity was leaking and building up, it could discharge at some point through the air, just like lightening
science class has been over and done with for a few years already, so I'm probably missing something though
so feel free to correct me -
That's really messed up, never heard of a situation like that before...Hope you get it fixed man!
