    Hi everyone..

Just wanted to say its been 11 months since I got my laptop (got it first week of January) and I still love it. It may not have a 9800x, or newer faster processors, or high speed RAM, but it still plays everything I throw at it wonderfully, I keep it like brand new too (fresh coat of wax every now and again) screen is still beautiful and 3dmark scores are rocking at almost around 9.5k.

So anyone looking for a laptop, after nearly a year I still am loving my sager, never had any major problems so far (knock on wood), and can still play all the newest games at basically maxed out settings.

    Its a great product

(see my sig for its specs) and check out my old review
    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=17102&hl=Garandhero (almost a year old)

You'll notice my 3dmark score then was 8,905(stock drivers) after I updated to newer drivers that dropped to around ~8,600(never figured out why tho), now I get about ~9,500 with overclocked processor from 2.4 - 2.6 and better drivers.

Yeah im still enjoying mine as well, though i haven't updated to the newest bios, i believe .12 or something, so need to do that and get the new fan firmware as well. What video drivers are you using?

Same here, had mine since january and still loving it. (Mine's the 5793 equivalent, but hey). Thinking abt upgrading to the 320GB 7200rpm hdd, but might wait for a 500GB 7200rpm if it looks good.

    latest kbc/ec 1.00.09 or here
    latest bios 1.00.11 or here

    FLASH KBC/EC FIRST

theriko, if it makes a difference to you, everyone here told me that in HDDs 320 gb and over, 5400rpm is just as fast as 7200rpm and gives off less heat.

I'm insanely heat conscious after my last computer (which could work in someone's central heating unit) basically fried itself over the course of 2 years.

Strictly speaking, 5400 RPMs can be as fast as a smaller sized 7200 RPM due to greater data density. A 5400 RPM drive that is of the same size as a 7200 RPM should perform more poorly.

5400 RPMs do tend to be cooler, but this is also dependent on the brand/model of the HDDs in question.

I am using the BIOS: .08SL

is that old for the 5792? It was the BIOS that fixed the down-clocking tho, whats the latest for the 5792?

its actually pretty funny really, i have never had an issue with fan noise. I guess some people have a different model of computer than I, or they have very large ears!
