    Does anyone have a comparison of the core temperatures in the P170 with the 6990m between the stock thermal compound and IC Diamond?

    I'm thinking my googling skills are poor or its too early to see this anywhere...

    Reportedly, they are generally 3-6 C cooler.

    Sager has reported 5C cooler on average for the 6990M with ICD 7. :)

    I've a AMD 6970M and the difference between ICD 7 and Stock was around 6C cooler.

    Looks like IC7 is a must for the 6990M.
