two month ago my T button was hard (stuck in its place not to inside) when tried to type on it then i forced down........

now i noticed it make different sound when pressing on it and sometimes it missed in my typing made me repressing firmly to make it appear.

    what to do now?

ask for keyboard replacement but it will difficult for me to return it back for warranty.

is there any tricks to get it fixed before it progress to worse.

contact your vendor and they will cross-ship you a new keyboard.

takes less than 1 minute to switch keyboards... no screws.

I'm assuming its a laptop keyboard and not an external one.
Contact the laptop manufacturer or look on ebay for a new keyboard.
I'm not sure what Gophn meant, practically all laptop keyboards have screws and are somewhat difficult to replace...

seriously, Clevo notebooks have the easiest keyboard replacement procedures.

here is the removal of the M860TU keyboard:

same procedure for the other models.

    my laptop is Compal JHL90

i purchased it from pro-star 8 months ago and shipped internationally very far from usa.

do you think its factory defect or just minor defect can live with it.

Oh, you have a Compal.... I forgot. :)

Its still simple to replace the keyboard.

Many international vendors sell this notebook and sell you the keyboard.

but you should contact Pro-Star and see if they can cross-ship you a new keyboard and how much it could cost.
