    I stuck a bionaire breeze fan in front of my np8662. about 10 minutes later on low, the hdd temp dropped by like 10+ degrees, 55->43. I hope my zalman does as well as this lol

    On an interesting side note, elevating my laptop actually increased the temperature, with small full stacks of post its. Anyone else notice this?

    My HD temps dropped 11-12 C with my Zalman, so yeah, it'll probably be as good, maybe better, with the cooler (also dust will not clog up your notebook much).
