Is there any way to switch from my 6990M to my integrated graphics card? My card just broke down and I'd rather use the Intel 3000 one then none at all.

what do you mean your card broke down?

just remove the ati driver and then on bootup it should go to the intergrated

I mean I got a black screen while playing Skyrim and when I tried to restart I get a black screen whenever windows loads.

When I go into safe mode and disable the driver, windows loads just fine, although now I'm also getting some horizontal blue lines on screen which I think means that the RAM on my graphics card is faulty. This is with a brand new card as well, just had my graphics card replaced becouse the previous 6990M did the exact same thing a week ago.

Though if the Intel 3000 card is running I would be able to play games no? Right now I can't. So just removing the driver doesn't work.

um, first of all, what kinda machine do u have? does it support switchable graphics? meaning, is the IGP even activated in ur case? if not, id contact ur reseller right away and get rid of this faulty GPU :) i know its a hassle, but at least u wont have to pay for that.

    cheers

horizontal lines does sound like a crapped out card. could you get a picture of it and post on here.

you could also try reverting back to the graphics driver that came on the disk to see if its not just a driver problem but the lines are worrying.
