I am done waiting for a resolution from AMD. Finally got off the phone with my reseller and will be shipping back my laptop (Clevo P170EM) and replacing the 7970m with the 680m.

    Some noob questions:

Should I do a refresh of my laptop (ie reinstall of windows etc) or keep everyting as is?

If I dont do a resfresh will the swapping of videocards affect any of my currently install games adversely?

    Thanks

You really dont need to do anything if the computer is going to be sent back to get the GPU upgraded, that should all be done at the factory for you. If you were doing it yourself you'd want to run driversweeper to totally remove AMD drivers and install the Nvidia drivers. But this should be done for you already.
