Not sure what you did but those scores are pretty much exactly on par with what I get in SM at 600/950 singel card. Congrats man you seem to have figured it out!

Are you overclocking both the CPU and the GPU to get this scores?

    Trance
PS: Nevermind I think you are since you use a custom VBIOS.

nice score! He OC'd the cpu as you can see on the picture, which really helps the score no doubt, still thats one of the best scores I have seen for a single 8800m, no matter the cpu!

    ^^^^^^Hater Alert^^^^^^

The only thing he focuses on isnt even there. when most people are concerned about a breakthru in the world of the d901c.

    lmao!

The OC did infact close the gap.

It's running 100% fine and dandy.

    enjoy folks.

I know alot of people wanted this me included.

67 under absolute full load with TAT.

but I have never had a program go as much as TAT before. it's the most hardcore load.

56 degrees with crysis and 33-38 idle.

max fans and nc10000 pad as usual.

Nice work, dex. It's amazing you could accomplish that with a tiny piece of tape!

How much did the CPU tweak raise your sm2/sm3 scores? (I know you posted the old ones somewhere, but I can't find them right now.)

are you getting your 2nd card soon?

Just got mine, working on updating my review with benchmarks, at stock clocks of course.

good to see some improvement here with the SM2 score, I was wondering why it was low in comparison to Justin's E8400 and Duane's M1730.

    dexgo,

Have you, perchance, benched your new setup on PCMark05? Hardwarezone.com has an article, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550/Q9450 - 45nm Prevails, on the new Intel Quad-cores, Q9550 and Q9450, complete with PCMark05 benchmarks for CPU and memory. Obviously, at stock, the Q6600 and Q6700 get left in the dust; it'd be interesting to see how your OC'd setup stood up to the Q9550 and Q9450. Just for reference for those too lazy to go check out the article, the PCMark05 CPU scores were 9150 for the Q9550 and 8618 for the Q9450. The article also reported CPU scores of 8628 for the Q6700 and 7770 for the Q6600.
