I just discovered another hidden keyboard shortcut on my Clevo P157SM (Sager NP8255-S): Press Fn+1 (number 1 on the main keyboard) to toggle forcing the fans to run at full speed. It gets noisy, but if you're worried about thermals, it's nice to know that you can make the fans run at max whenever you feel it's necessary. This shortcut, as I've found, also applies to several other Clevo systems built by Sager.
While we're at it, I think we should have a sticky thread for all of the hidden keyboard shortcuts found on Sager/Clevo systems. This info might be useful to someone...

its the same as the HM series. last years EM series does not have this and then they add it again to the SM series.
all the shortcuts are in the user manual for each model. -

EM machines from sager had that function actually.
-
really Meaker, well mine didnt.
i think almost all suppliers didnt have that option except one in the uk who also had the unlocked bios. -
Sager notebooks did, it's not stock from Clevo though.

Yes sager requested their bios have the function still there.

I think there are better ways to control thermals. Besides, on mine even with Fn+1 my GPU can hit 93C. So I use Nvidia Inspecter to set the top GPU temps.

yeah i recall back when the EM series was new about 50/50 were saying they had it/didn't have it. I feel kinda lucky that I do

I am using XMG P503, it seems that it does not have the Fn+1 key fan control. How do I enable it ?

Flash Prema's modded BIOS and Bob's your uncle...
TIP: Force the fans on the P157SM to run at full speed
