I'm noticing a few entries in Event viewer>Windows logs>Application related to the TPM. It says I need a firmware update.

Not off the top of my head, it can be manually done from back in the day but speak to your reseller:

Anyway, managed to update the firmware. No new TPM related errors in the logs. Thanks again.

Btw. too bad that thread is locked. There are a few crucial changes to the procedure.
Clearing the TPM can be done from the Windows Security app in settings.
On my system I have PowerShell instead of Command Prompt, and it will not run commands on files in the current directory. E.g. to run TPM3.bat, you browse to the folder it is in and then run .\TPM3.bat
Btw.2. Windows Hello does not use the TPM. So your fingerprint login etc. is not affected. AFAIK only Bitlocker uses the TPM, so if you don't use BitLocker, don't bother. -

CMD and powershell can exist on a system at the same time.
