So which do you think is better?

I saw some stuff that said TX-4 was better but more of a bitc* to put on because its so thick lol

I know the resellers and most use the Ic Diamond though but if something better is out why hasn't anyone used this stuff really? :p

It's really all personal preference. There are charts out there that compare thermal grease/compounds and people that will argue till they die that one is better than the other. I use Arctic Silver V at home on my desktop builds, but IC diamond is great stuff as well.

I say stick with what you like. Most of the performance pastes perform fairly similarly anyway.

I personally like TX-4 more. It's easy to clean and good for GPU memory chips. Just don't use the spreading method, go for the pea size/rice grain one :)

Any idea which one will last longer over time? I know some are only good for so many years and some as few as 2 years. I would guess the IC Diamond would last the longest but the TX-4 provides more cooling?
