    Does anyone know when XoticPC will have this in stock? Do other resellers actually have the tuner in stock? I prefer XoticPC, but I cannot wait too much longer. Does anyone out there even own an NP2090 with TV tuner? Just curious. Thank you.

    Why ask that here when u can go directly to the source? Did you expect NBRers to have exclusive inside secrets to Xotic's inventory?

    Anyway, try PMing Justin@xoticpc on this forum or emailing them. They're pretty prompt with their responses, though the emails tend to be very short. The point gets across though. For other resellers, again, try contacting them since I assume they'll know what they have in stock or not...

    xotic updates their site very often it seems.. id say call them but if its listed as backordered it prob is... the wsxga screens from what i was told will be coming in sooner also.

    Justin said he did not know, that is why I asked here. My real question was: Does anyone have an NP2090 with a TV tuner installed? If so, how does it work and where did you buy your laptop from? I've been searching all over for one. Thank you.

    I was going to order my 2090 with the tv tuner but decided to go without it. I could not find any reviews on the tuner or performance specs ect... I also thought I should go with an external USB tuner like Win TV so I could eventually upgrade in the future.
    There are several external USB tuners out there, I found good reviews on Win TV and will be ordering it when my 2090 arrives.

    I believe the TV Tuner for NP2090 is a hybrid tuner. But their software may not be as good as Leadtek's.
