Does anyone have any information regarding the TV Tuner that comes with the NP9750?
    (Specifically from DiscountLaptops.Com)....
    What comes with it?
    What its capabilities are?
Would someone mind explaining why this peice of hardware is a good buy for the NP9750?

I ask because I can't seem to find much info anywhere else, and I'm not sure whether or not it is something I'd utilize.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

The TV Tuner includes a remote control and coax antenna adapter.

    It's analog, multi-region.

Is it a good buy? I don't know, do you want to watch TV on your laptop? If not, I wouldn't bother. $75 isn't a bad price for a TV tuner.

Keep in mind that it is a Mini-PCI card, and you're not going to get great reception with it. Decent, but not great.

    Thanks, Chaz.

At this point... what's another $80?

Very true, you have one powerful but expensive rig there, but what's the sense in spending $80 when you don't have to? ;) I'd get the second DVD Burner for that.
