Hey guys, I've recently been playing a bit of TF2 on my P170EM - 680M with 3610QM and was wondering what kind of FPS do you guys get on the game?

The reason I ask is I have noticed that my FPS drops pretty low considering the age of the game, around the 40's. I have Nvidea forcing the 680M but I was wondering if it could be anything else?

    Cheers Guys!

You should defintiely be getting more than the 40's, I was able to find some reports of people with lesser cards getting 200+FPS and another user stating 90's FPS. Are you plugged in while doing this?

I think the game is more CPU dependent and PPU dependent than anything else, but your specs far supersede the demands. Are you experiencing throttling? Checked your temps?

I'm using these settings on my Envy 17 Notebook:

And I'm getting ~ 60-80 fps on average, dips to 55 ish in a firefight sometimes.

GPU usage is around 95%, so it is using my GPU. This GPU is about 60% of a 7970M / GTX 680M performance wise.
