I'm waiting for my p170em right now and I have some questions about what I should do when I get it.

What tests should I run to make sure everything's ok? Anything other than dead pixel tests, monitoring temps, benchmarking? What are the best programs (free if possible) to do these tests?

Also, since I'll be installing an aftermarket ssd, should I run these tests before or after I do that?

Thanks and sorry for the noob questions

3dMark 11, 3Dmark Vantage, Kombuster and Games of course. Gaming fps is the best way to judge but 3D mark 11 and Vantage are also pretty good.
