I got my new 5793 from Xoticpc last week and just now have time to check it out. The specs are in my sig. I've run 3dmark06 and cpuid so far with stock drivers. The only thing I have done is set everything to Windows Classic, turned off Aero, and a few processes. These are the initial results.

Are these numbers OK and is there anything else important I need to do to test the system. I'm not so much interested in messing endlessly with drivers and BIOS updates to get a few points on test scores. I just want to make sure everything is working normally within expected results. Thanks

    3DMark06 score seems about right.
    - you can get a few more points if you try difference drivers and bit more tweaking, but your system seems fine.

temps are fine... but you should really monitor them at load as well... since that pic only shows the temps at idle.

I recommend RivaTuner if you are playing games and want to monitor your temps while in-game.

I have play RE4 on the PC as well.... it looks much better, especially since it can play at full 1920x1200. :)

there are many FPS that are good, if you want to join other NBR members online, they are playing:
    - Unreal Tournament 3 .... demo available (with benchmark)
    - Crysis ...... demo available (with benchmark)
    - Left 4 Dead
    - Orange Box Games (Half-Life 2, Team Fortress, etc..)
    ....etc...

If you like single player games:
    - Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
    - Fallout 3
    - Bioshock
    ....etc...
