    Nice Meaker you are doing great with your system! I can't wait to get mine and see what it can do, I probably won't go so far but that is nice to know it ca go that far... About the BIOS if you could post a quick walkthrough I am sure many would appreciate it including myself ;)!

    Congrats Meaker. Yeah, I'm going for my optimal config too. This laptop is a keeper for me. Let's see if I can keep it for over 2 years lol. Longest I kept a gaming capable laptop was my Vostro 1500 for almost 2.5 years then sold it to a friend who still uses it today. Although I had a Sony for over 7, but I wouldn't quite call it gaming capable, lol. But it sufficed for basic computing tasks.

    I'm almost there with my ideal build too:

    - 15.6" 1080p matte (stock is actually very nice)
    - i7-3610QM (I don't have a need for more speed for anything)
    - GTX 680m (I couldn't have asked for anything better tbh, 2x the performance of my current desktop)
    - 16GB DDR3 1600 @ 4x4GB (ideally want 2x8GB to make room for 16GB more later)
    - 512GB Crucial M4 SATA III
    - 256GB Crucial M4 mSATA (on its way)
    - BD-ROM/DVD-RW (on its way)
    - Over 3 hours easily on battery for regular use

    Other than the occasional keyboard ghosting problems while gaming, I couldn't ask for a more perfect laptop. What would I "like" to see improved? SATA III for both SATA and mSATA, non ghosting keyboard, GPU muxed to LCD not iGPU. But those are nitpicks really. So far it's worth every penny.

    I just need to find a decent pair of wireless earbuds.

    Yeah, this time I said no compromises. And now I see how people can hang on to a laptop for 3 years if they build it how they want it. Heck, as long as I don't have an accident (knock on wood), I should have decent upgrade options down the road for CPU, GPU, and more/faster RAM. My goal is to make it to 2015 with Intel's 10nm tech and whatever nVidia/AMD throw our way for GPU.

    @Meaker,

    Did Clevo release an XTU unlock bios for P150EM or you force flashed P170EM bios onto a P150EM?
