    Hi guys! I found this laptop is enough for me ( i5 cpu + gtx 960m) but sadly I cannot find the base model of this laptop, ie: The 15.6" Defiance II is based on the NP865x models so I can find the review. Can anyone help me to find out which is the exact name on sager/clevo website of the 15.6" Optimus VII from the uk's website??

    You have a link to the one you are looking at? Sounds more like a NP7155/7255 which would be the clevo N155RD.

    The Sager NP865x models are the P650RE/RG models but typically have a higher end GPU and CPU

    Yes that's the Clevo N155RD, which is the updated version of the Clevo N150SD. Look around for reviews on those models.

    Correct, looks like the N155RD is not out yet. However, it is a clevo, so if the specs match up to what you are looking for i believe it would be a good match. Take a look at some of the reviews of those sager models like the 7155, which was out for awhile, it would give you a pretty good idea of what you are looking at, while i'm sure there are some design changes from it as well.

    Hi

    @ngotiendat @Alex@XOTICPC

    This is based on the Clevo N150RD model, I don't know who else has stock yet but it has been released and we are already selling and shipping it as the XMG A506 (which uses the Clevo N150RD chassis) :) I'm pretty sure that Sager is using the clevo N155RD chassis (the NP7255 is online and there's no ETA so I assmued stock is already shipping?), not the N150RD. The main difference seems to be the red stripe on the N155 but I have only seen the N150 in the flesh so don't know for sure (it will only be a cosmetic difference, not technological difference between the two versions).

    You can find lots of review for the A505 here which as mentioned is the predecessor and very similar to the newer "RD" model, and also video if you do a google search for "XMG A505": You should start to see reviews of the A506 (N150RD) very soon in UK press and online!

    I can't link directly to our website (against reseller forum rules) but if you look on the XMG UK website you can compare the specifications on the main pages for the A505 and A506.

    This was a little bit harder to do. I went here. http://mysn.co.uk/ but I didn't see a link for the A505. I googled to find it. http://www.mysn.co.uk/xmg-a505-gaminglaptop The A506 link was there. http://mysn.co.uk/xmg-a506-gaminglaptop

    Edit: This page helps with identifying Clevos on PCSpecialist. http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/laptop-computers/clevo-laptops/40/
