Is the internal bluetooth chip in this model sufficient for normal use e.g. bluetooth mice and pairing phones? What is the difference between the internal chip and the Intel 6230/3000 Bluetooth chip?

I have no problems with the internal bluetooth (made by Cambridge Silicon Radio).

I think the Intel models mostly provide slightly better WiFi range over the stock realtek NIC.

The bluetooth should basically be identical. The difference between stock and the 6230 is that the stock is 1x1 send/receive antennas, while the 6230 is 2x2 so that the throughput bumps from 150 to 300Mbps.
