just reformatted with Windows 7 (this isn't the question that gets asked all the time), so I go to install the audio driver from the CD using the direct setup link rather than the GUI. After about a dozen attempts i concluded the disk is damaged, it is kind of scratched up.

So like the savvy person i am i went to the realtek website to download the driver here
    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

but lo and behold theres some java script problem, none of the download links work.

i used the forum search feature and found that this website hosts them as well http://m860tu.fr/index.htm

but check the links again, they give another error!

can someone upload the realtek hd audio driver for me please?!
I'm trying to talk to my girlfriend on skype and the mic wont work until i get this damn thing installed and shes nagging me every 5 minutes asking if its fixed yet @_@

    help!

Why is it when I have a problem it takes at least till the next day for someone to reply (leaving me to try and fix it myself) and when other people post for problems they get help in record 7 minutes???
Are you people conspiring against me?? O.O
    ARE YOUUUUU????
Ok that was a useless post but it made me laugh hope you all got a laugh too.
