    I have managed to track down a copy of this revered document and unless I get a reasonable, legitimate reason from a mod/reseller not to, then I shall distribute it to anyone who asks for it...

    I'd say do it - I've never heard anything other people have said about Clevo not wanting people to distribute service manuals, and you think they would have told me.

    It would also be great to have a thread of just service manuals for the good people of this forum to download.

    Now why wouldn't you want to post it here, since the manuals for the newer models are already posted???

    It would make more sense not to post the newer version, than the older version. Am I missing something here?

    I also have the SM4 version - the only diff I can find is the turbo memory is added to the SM4 version...

    OK, what file hosting service would you guys recommend?

    The RU-U is the same as the RU, just a different bottom plate.

    I'm afraid I cannot seem to get hold of the RU-U version. However the SM4 version of the 570RU is exactly the same as the RUU

    RUU should have one more fan connector on board. And i still want to know the dimension of this 3rd Fan. :D

    I don't think they ever released a version with a 3rd fan. I've never heard of one that has the slot filled.

    How can I tell which version I need? I purchased a NP5791 from PowerNotebooks last September...is there a way to tell whether it should be a SM3 or SM4 manual?

    probably sm3, but they're very similar, so either should do. Do you know if your machine has 1xminipci (wide) and 1x mini pcie (thin) - (sm3) or 2x minipcie (sm4)?
