    Hello :)

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, a Clevo N150 or similar.
    15" / 16 GB RAM / i7-6700HQ / GTX 960M / AC 1535 / No disk

I've made a Google Sheet with some seller/reseller, I am stunned by the price difference between the cheapest and the most expensive. ( With +/- the same spec.)

    mysn : 1.251,00 € (DE)
    pcspecialist : 1.010,00 € (UK)
    tekadvice : 990,00 € (RO)
    dreammachines : 800,00 € (PL)
    ceg-hardcorecustom : 773,50 € (old gen CPU) (DE)

I have never dealt with any of theses companies, I've only read some bad and good reviews on notebookreview.com, that's it. Not enough to make up my mind ... :(

Welcome to the forum! You've found a good place to get to some answers.

I believe mysn does have some reps here, for XMG, and I think I've seen CEG here as well from time to time. Maybe you could reach out to their reps if you have questions. I know here in the US, we have a site like resellerratings, that you could get more info. I'm not sure if there are additional sites like that in Europe where people will post their reviews but it would be worth checking for. Hopefully some others here will be able to post their feedback in regards to those companies if they purchased from them before.

I can't chime in on the resellers, but I will say you've picked a good, entry level gaming system; good build quality, good looks, and good performance at a good price. I recommend calling or emailing each seller you're most interested in and ask some basic questions (things like their ordering process, turnaround time, warranty service, and/or their opinion on the laptop). That will give you a first impression of the customer service, too.

Bear in mind that, more often than not, people will take to the Internet to complain about something rather than to pay compliments.

I bought my laptop from CEG, great service and got it before XMG even gave me a quote...XMG generally costs more because of their warranty service but CEG's isn't too bad too..

While you will get complaints on here, looking at how their complaints are handled is a good sign of support.

Hi, we are glad we are in the list and we are offer a great price :). We are in business about 1 year and trying to grow as fast as possible that is why we are offering prices that are basically our cost. We hope this gets people excited about our Clevo machines and fast. We also work with Prema and offer his BIOS which is a great upgrade and you can get increased performance from the GTX960M GPU. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

@Stnkz I have checked the pricing and it looks like you made your comparison before our substantial price reductions early last week, if you check again now you will find the pricing is much lower! I can't draw any comparisons in a forum post but please feel free to ask us any questions you may have directly and we will be happy to explain the features and our products :)

And I must daresay that most of the complaints here are handled pretty well :)

Also, nice thread title is nice (and kinda poetic) but you may want to make it a bit more descriptive the next time? Was a bit confused by it lol :p
