Hello guys, I wanted to start a new thread for this one. My M860TU graphics card recently died (9800M GT) and Im going try to bake it, Ive disassembled everything and found these strange pads. On the warning labels it says that the pads are not re-useable and I have to replace them if I want to switch Gpu. ( see pictures ) So Im wondering where to I get these thermal pads and are they really necessary?

If the baking fails Im going have to buy a new GPU and from my previous post
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/626162-huge-problems-m860tu-2.html

I got the version information (thanks MrDJ)

    NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX
512MB GDDR3 Video RAM On Board
    Supports PCI-Express * 16
    MS DirectX® 10.0 compatible
    MXM Type-II
    Supports HDC

So looking for a new GPU , if im not going to buy the 260 GTX cause they are pretty pricey. What specs do I need to look for on the new video card that would match the information on my laptop? Is it MXM type-II or something else/more.

If purchasing a used card from ebay , isnt there a big risk that this card will be at the end of its lifespan or perhaps even has been baked before? just as a side note to where to buy from?
