I originally though of getting an alienware R4 from dell, but they have delayed the package a month and in the next couple days I will probably cancel the order and start looking for something else.
Currently I am thinking of custom building a Sager from Exotic PC, but the only problem is I know absolutely nothing about sager and their quality, and finding information on them is very difficult. So to anyone who reads this check out the link below and let me know if you can answer the following questions.

- I will upgrade to the GTX 1070
- I will upgrade to the 4K QFHD Screen (3840x2160)
- I will probably get the 6700K
- Everything else is pretty much the same
- I am in the US west coast, if that makes any difference
1) What sort of color accuracy can I expect from this screen, does anyone have any idea? sRGB and aRGB specifically. I am a graphic designer and this is a very important statistic to know when buying a computer for me now.
2) Light bleed. Does the screen have any terrible bleeding issues I should know about before thinking of this PC? I know the alienware's were having massive trouble this and I wouldn't want to get roped into the same situation.
3) Heating. I have seen that these can have some heating issues, however Xotic is using IC Diamond on GPU and CPU (which I have read is really good). Does this mean I wont have heating issues?
4) Build quality and personal experience with Sager and XoticPC. Both of which would be brand new experiences for me (coming from an ASUS ROG) and I just want to make sure that I am in good hands with both.

The 4K screen I believe is the same one offered on the p870dm3 (Sager np9873) and made by AUO and had sRGB 100% and AdobeRGB 88% (link: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Schenker-XMG-U727-Clevo-P870DM3-G-Notebook-Review.173957.0.html). May want to verify through Xotic or whichever reseller/builder you go with.
As far as heat, I think the 1070 should help with maintaining cooler temps vs people with the 1080, but I think can still be of some concern particularly with desktop class CPU even with IC diamond. HIDevolution does offer delidding of CPU with liquid metal which can keep the CPU cooler vs IC diamond without delid.
However, I don't actually own this particular laptop, may be worth digging through the respective owners threads for more info.
Good luck! -

If you don't buy the laptop from a Prema partner then you don't get the Prema BIOS. See how big of a difference it makes in my review: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/evoc-p870dm3-review-by-phoenix.798685/
I got mine from HIDevolution with O back light bleeding, just make sure to put a note in your order notes to double check that
Also, HIDevolution are one of very few resellers that offers factory delidded CPUs and that brings down the temps by as much as 10%
They also use IC Diamond and paste using the X Cross method which gives the maximum thermal paste coverage with the least amount of bubbles

thats awesome news, I can live with 88%, seeing as my ROG only has 50 x_x
I've never heard of HDevolution, but ill have to give them a look or see if Xotic can delid as well. How do I know if a seller is a prema partner? I have to say the factor you got 0 zero light bleed, an that systems runs at those temps is pretty epic. However the model you reviewed is differnent than the one I am looking at. The one you reviewed is far to thick for me @-@ -

I know the model is different but the quality , warranty, delidding, faster RAM options, Prema BIOS are all that matter
Here are the Prema partner shops, all of them will have the Prema BIOS as soon as it's finished the beta testing; https://biosmods.wordpress.com/partner/ -
you can also download premamod bios and vbios for free on his website if you go with xotic like I did they have been amazing with communications and alot of times I get an answer within an hour on these forums its awesome to have people from xotic all over these forums willing to help people with anything they may come up (which is unlikely) they do rigorous testing before they send your laptop to you to make sure you have no problems once you receive it.

4k with a notebook 1070 = LOL
the desktop 1070 can't handle 4k consistently. -
I wonder if you're a bit out of the loop on the whole Prema system BIOS availability? Only way to get it with newer Clevo machines is to get one through a Prema Partner - https://biosmods.wordpress.com/partner/
You can pick up some more details here - http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/prema-bios-questions.795536/#post-10330926Spartan@HIDevolution and neohopper like this. -
the 4k is for my graphic design job, not necessarily gaming all the time. I dont mind taking games down to 1080p, or reducing the graphics settings at 4k
this discussion is for Sager as brand and the quality of their machines in screen accuracy and temperature management anyway. -

These are more per model-specific questions. Each machine has a different cooling system design, some are BGA and some use PGA and MXM components, different screens, etc.
Are there any models you're looking at? -
This one for exoticPC Specifically is on my radar atm

Cooling system is good. It's unified (CPU + GPU use the same heatsink assembly), which bugs some people. A good thermal compound and good practice keep it fairly cool, though.
The screen is good; IPS panel with decent color accuracy. Overall, it's a nice machine.

I saw a review recently where the upper temperatures of the user with a stock PC from Xotic I think was reaching 80-84 degrees after a large gaming load in battelfield. That seems a little high, but he hadn't done any modifications to it and it was brand new (which ive seen in other threads that the thermal paste takes time to reduced temperatures).
He also had bad light bleed but he sent it back to sager, and the replacement in his followup video had none. -

That's rather good. There are variables that can affect this in either direction, though (ambient temperature, surface, amount of space for air intake and exhaust, etc.). 90+ Celsius is when things are looking poor.
That's good news. Some degree of light bleed is almost certain, especially with IPS panels ("IPS glow"). The plastic frame sometimes pinches the LCD a bit, making it appear worse. -
found an interesting video of Doom at 4k on this exact laptop as well and only reached roughly 60 degrees. GPU temps were really good as well.
I guess from what im seeing this does pretty well in all scenarios. Maybe I will get it instead of the AW r4Prostar Computer likes this. -

Then he must have received a silicon lottery CPU and thermal paste job because my P775DM3 with the GTX 1080 got a lot hotter than that. I eventually returned that system in favor of the less powerful P670RS with the GTX 1070 and have not regretted that decision one bit. It handles 1440p gaming beautifully and runs much cooler and quieter than the P775, despite being thinner and lighter.Prostar Computer likes this. -

really? can you show us the link to download the Prema BIOS/VBIOS for the latest laptops?
Hint: you can't -

what sort of temps were you seeing on that PC? I've seen someone running on a stock 6700HQ at 80 degree C range with the 1070 as graphics
