    Hi all!

I just joined the forum but I have been following the topics for a long time now!

I am thinking of getting the P650HP6-G from HID, and the other contender is the slimmer brother P950 but it may be a tad bit expensive for me.

I may end up ordering it from outside the US and will be getting the international warranty. But I am still worried about the international service from HID. Does anyone have any international warranty claims experiences with HID? I have seen only good things written about their support in the owners lounge but I would like to know more about their international support.

    Thanks!

I wont comment on another reseller but when choosing between those two models, look at your priorities, they are each for a slightly different user. The P950 will suit the majority of people though.

Yeah I am pretty clear on that. The P650 with the the 1060 has a physical profile similar to my current 2012 non retina MBP. And it is way more upgradeable.

Do you know someone who can share their experience @Meaker@Sager ? Could you tag them?

    Firstly, check these threads:

HIDevolution - The Best Company I ever dealt with
    HIDevolution's Warranty!
HIDevolution - a benchmark for excellent customer service

Secondly, while those laptops that you mentioned are good and HIDevolution has them and do a great job when it comes to building them in terms of stress testing and quality control to ensure you receive a laptop that works great out of the box; I still recommend you check the MSI laptops. They have better cooling, better screens and even better keyboards.

    I recommend you this one: MSI GE73VR 7RE Raider-002

Don't forget to email [email protected] and tell him your NBR Forum username you might get a tiny discount.

The dedication to getting it right is commendable!

About the MSI, I think it is a great laptop but it probably falls a bit short on battery life and there is no hardware switch like in the clevo for going in discrete vs optimus mode.

However, I do love a good screen! Any chance you can provide me a comparison of sRGB and Adobe RGB coverage for both the laptops?

    Thanks!
