I have posted a thread In gaming. I have done alot of things to try to answer this problem I have.

I own a sager np 8150 with a 6990m. I just bought a 23 inch samsung 120hz 3d monitor. Side by Side works but something is wrong, 2d-3d works great so no problems their. im locked in at 60 fps at 1920x1080 and am connected using a dvi cable that was included. My problem is I cannot get the monitor to run at 120hz and I cannot figure it out.

Does the 6990m even support 120hz?
Does the np8150 use dual link DVI or single link DVI?(I read that its dual link for nvidia models listed, and another person said it was single link for his. Maybe someone knows what it is as google has no clue)

Please help me out I have spent the entire day on this and it's driving me crazy!

The Dual-link connection on the back of the P150 should support 120hz just fine. Did you try installing the newest drivers? All graphics cards should support 120hz without issue as long as the correct cable is used with correct (compatible) ports.

You sure the cable is dual-link? As far as I know, AMD's 3D is sort of... unpolished, so you may have problems with it. I just don't count on AMD to provide 3D.
