    Thought of a solution for 8662 HDD overheating

    A saw with some type of cooling system or try to bend it and heat the bent part and keep bending it till it cuts...but that method wouldn't give you a clean cut.

    You can use metal shears, or if your sheet is small enough to the size you want to cut it to, you can belt sand the sucker. Otherwise, I would still suggest you cut it properly with a metal saw. How thick is the sheet you are trying to cut?

    Its around 2mm, very thin but tough. An associate of mine suggested a hacksaw.

    How much clearance do we have between the hard drive and the bottom of the case?
