I was wondering if someone could provide insight.

I have disconnected my GPU from my laptop (since its toast), its a Sager 5793 then I powered on and it seemed to power on and in the process the cpu fan spun a few times only but the gpu fan didn't spin at all, does this indicate that the gpu fan is not working? Or is it not spinning just because the gpu isn't connected?

    Thanks!

Have you tried powering up with the GPU installed to see if that makes any difference to whether or not the GPU fan tries to start spinning?

With my GPU installed the system won't even start since the GPU is fried.

You could try Fn + 1 to put your fans on high manually, that way it will put all you fans on regardless of temperature?
