This falls around my pricepoint but there doesn't seem to be much discussion about it. What do people think? Is it really that unpopular a model?

It is a little bit of a newer model. If you look at other NP867x / p670xx models for reviews, they should be fairly similar to that one but just would be a previous version of it, or with a different graphics cards. But a lot of the same options/features/characteristics of the model would be about the same though. You could also maybe get some feedback from reviews on the 15 inch version as well, as they are still pretty similar in a lot of ways.

It is a good model, especially for the price when compared to other systems though.

What is the clevo P670SE and p670SG compared to the P670RE3? Is the latter just an updated version?

The P670SE and SG are the last generation laptops of the P65x/67x series, with Haswell CPU, DDR3 RAM, and along with other minor differences. The RE and RG are the latest gen.

After six months, is there anyone with any experience with this model?

Grump, did you get one? If so, what are your thoughts?

I am considering this model, the ability to go to 64GB, DDR4 over DDR3 and two 2.5" drive bays (assuming 7mm SSDs) would give me room to grow.

It has been very popular and for some of the reasons you listed. See the owners lounge in the other section.

Overall, it has been a good system from what I've seen. But i would agree, to check out the owner's lounge. It's a good bang for your buck for performance and ram/ssd upgrades.
