You may want to reinstall Windows to make sure everything is clean and fresh if you run into more issues. Good luck.

Great. Is this like on Fox News where it's okay to basically defame someone as long as it's phrased as an open ended hypothetical?

At the risk of stating the highly obvious, but sometimes a jerk on the internet is... just a jerk on the internet, you know.

Yep lets just blame AMD and completely rule out a bad card or other problem. As someone with a 7970m which works perfectly and never has any issues aside from ones i know I caused myself you may want to try having the builder check the system out first.

To be fair, you never had to deal with the Enduro issues we Clevo owners experienced

13.1 fixes pretty much all the issues I used to have though.

No one is saying 7970m is a bad vid card. I personally think 7970m is better than the 680m based on price/performance ration. It's 50% of the cost at 90-95% of the performance. It's Enduro that's causing all the headaches and problem. As I mentioned earlier, the card is being crippled by Enduro. Your Alienware comes with an extremely nice function that allows Enduro to be disabled. That option isn't available to us Clevo owners.

Ok I'm ordering the 9370/p3770 but I am still confused on the exact nature of the Enduro issues. Some things I read say hardware others swear drivers? Which is it or is it a case of both?

The problems stem from driver support for the hardware. Depending on who you're asking, you may not be getting accurate reports of the true problem and misconstrued as hardware problems. On the 9370 though you don't need to worry about any of these issues as you don't have enduro and you won't have these headaches to worry about.
