I was curious if theres any info regarding upcoming models from Clevo, I couldnt find any. I probably wont buy a new latop untill next year (next generation of graphic cards) and wonder if we can expect newer Clevo barebones than for example the P150HM at that time.

Do they usually come once a year? Do they usually coincide with new models/generations of graphic cards or again, do Clevo follow their own agenda?

They usually come out with new models when new CPU's come out. So I would say be on the lookout for new models when Ivy Bridge comes out next year. There will probably also be some other "new" models by then too, there is a rumor on the block for a 18.4" Model, and also the next generation X7200 built on the X79 platform. But new graphics cards don't really get built around unless they are using a new MXM standard. As thats the benefit of the modular design :p

18.4" huh? Sounds interesting. When I learned about the M18x I was intrigued, but I was put off by them getting rid of the RGB LED screens in their M17x model, and not even really offering an upgrade in the M18x.

The biggest thing that draws me to Sager is the ability to upgrade and having some better options when buying new.

How long until there's an NP8130 replacement? Would it be a bad idea to buy one in 2 - 3 months? Will a replacement likely have a new video card, or just a cpu upgrade? I could wait to buy but if there's not an upgraded video card I'd rather buy sooner then later...What do I do???

That's what I'm doing is waiting for the next Clevo model (hopefully including backlighting). That and since I probably won't buy a new laptop till early next year, I'm holding out for Intel's Ivy Bridge and Nvidia's Kepler.
