Hey, I had a question to those of you who have ordered the NP5793 from eurocom. I was wondering if the lid design was that of the one pictured here...

    http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np5792-custom-laptop-built-clevo-m570ru-p-2276.html

or if it was the one that is posted on eurocom's webpage here...

    http://www.eurocom.com/gallery/189/index.html

I realise that the default lid design is the one posted on xoticpc, but the fact that eurocom posts that picture on it's webpage makes me wonder if that is actually the one they use, or if it's the default one that the rest of the sager manufacturers use. Just looking for a simple answer from someone who knows for sure. Not really interested in hearing anyones best guess. Thanks!

Eurocom uses it's own lid design. Everything else is the same.

Cool, is it the one they have pictured on their webpage? With the rubbery looking ribbed back? I seem to find it more appealing then just the standard brush metal back.

Also, does anyone know where I can find some real pics of it? Not just studio pictures?

for some reason i believe that is just the pic. They dont use custom lids, they use Clevo lids. Its just a picture that can be seen as different. It is the same lid that xoticpc, powernotebooks, etc., use.

    Are you sure?
I think that you don't have WXGA screen in your M571RU, naicus. Isn't it a WXGA+?

yeah i have wxga+, but i think he is talking about the actual physical lid makeup. I'm pretty sure they are all the same, regardless of screen res and re-seller. These are Clevo made laptops, of course they can be customized, but i dont think Eurocom does that without a HuGe price increase. I could be wrong.

It's not a photoshop so my guess is they do have a diff lid....I like the original one better though.
