Hello,
Looks like my laptop's second chassis is about to crack as well.
For some reason (probably poor design) the rods that hold the hinges in place keep breaking and eventually the entire upper part of the chassis starts to crack.
If anyone here has the top case part for M570TU or M570RU, please let me know. I need a new one to keep my laptop mobile.

Have you checked the NBR Marketplace too? -
I did and I will post there as well, but I doubt anyone has the model. I was hoping that maybe some Clevo resellers have some spare parts laying around.
I was able to source a top case before from laptop dismemberments shops but none have them anymore. -

Yeah, I would love to help you with this if we had the part. Alas, we only service systems that came from us originally.
You might have some luck with eBay also, but it's just as hit or miss as anywhere else, especially on a system this old. -
I have tried eBay and local shops, nothing... I would be so sad to see this machine become unusable. On December 1st it has been 8 years since I got it.

Haven't heard anything from Eurocom. The crack is getting bigger everyday, soon the hinge will come loose from the bottom chassis.

If you're ever unsure and aren't getting any reply then contact your card company - they'll advise you best!
If I remember correctly you are in the UK, if so then just drop the UK Clevo Service Center a call or email: http://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_contact.asp?lang=en . The service centers supply all direct Clevo customers with parts when required but they will also do repairs for Clevo customers and end user customers - plus the UK office has no issue in selling parts to lapotps owners of course
