I'm considering shipping it overseas, and in order to get an estimate I need a weight.

Can anyone tell me what the total shipping in the original box with all the stuff might be? I know the laptop is about 7.1 lbs, so should I assume 10 lbs? Or more? Less? Thanks!

The box my M860TU (NP8660) came in is listed as being 14lbs, I don't know how accurate Fedex's measurements may have been though.

It will be more than $200 shipping through UPS.
BTW, why dont you go to Taiwan and buy it overthere??

They sell Sagers there? I thought they would just have the Clevo barebones... but that would be nice if possible! Taipei might only be a $350 roundtrip flight from here...

If you are buying from Sager you can have them ship directly from US to Korea, instead of reship it.

They MUST have it in Taiwan, probably some individual stores in computer malls which have no web sites.

Mine is also listed at 16lbs. So could that just be a "general" weight for a 17" laptop?

You mean the Sager or Clevo? Sager is based out of the states, so I don't think they'd have it in Taiwan..
