I have a brand new np8170 that has a few minor spots with paint missing. I would like to fill them in with matching color. Does anyone have any recommendations? The spots are white and I want to color them the brushed metal color.

Really? That's odd! Can you post a picture of it?

It's so minor that it wouldn't really show up on picture. It was a little bit of white on the corner of track pad and a couple white dots on left side arm rest. (Size of a pin head)

I actually thought it was just dust at first. After cleaning these spots though they remained. If I wasn't just a perfectionist then I wouldn't even have noticed it.

I ended up covering it up with a black sharpie permanent marker. It just took a black dot on the couple spots. You can't tell now (that I used a marker) unless you stare at it on a specific angle.

If you overdo it then you can use a magic eraser on the marker to erase it as well. The magic eraser completely removes the marks.

Just FYI if anyone runs into a similar issue. I would have used touch up paint but the marker does the trick.
