I've been using a mouse for the past few months but today I realized my touchpad on my 5791 would no longer "click" when i tapped the touchpad. The touchpad would still work but when I tap nothing registers. I have to click the buttons below it now for it to sensor a mouse click. Is there something I accidently turned off? I've restarted, installed drivers but its still the same.

Also anyone know why my desktop icons keep re-arranging back after everytime I fully shutdown? Its not on auto-arrange

    1. Check the Control Panel mouse settings.
    2. How do they re-arrange?

Weird. Did you ever arrange them that way? Try playing around with the arrange settings, if you haven't done so already.

    Nice desktop, btw. :p

That is a nice desktop. On the touchpad-tap issue, having the mouse plugged in may override some of the functionality of the touchpad - at least with some systems (I haven't used every system ever released :D ). On my vaio, when I first plugged in a usb mouse, I lost the tap functionality on the touchpad. I later on got it restored (it was a while back so I don't remember how, sorry  ), but eventually turned it off because the touchpad is getting ... quirky ... by now and tap would do funky mysterious things that I didn't want it to do (like closing out an app when I'm in the middle of typing and haven't saved yet  ).

I recommend you use UltraMon, contact me via email, it provides an option to save your desktop icons position, and restores them at startup. My email is my username + @hotmail.com
