The touchstrip for volume and wireless simply stopped working after reinstalling. Reinstalling driver doesn't help. The HDD, and the lock lights are working just fine though. How should I fix it?

And another question. how do I take out the BIOS battery? I just can't seem to take it out without breaking something..

Oops. Laptop is x7200. Reinstall is just a regular reinstall, nothing special about it. I did it after blowing dust out of the fans. I might have messed up the BIOS battery however, since BIOS resets every time I disconnect the power cable.
Also Windows doesn't display the remaining charge of the battery. HW Monitor cannot detect the total charge either. I think I blew it this time, pun intended.

I already stated reinstalling the driver doesn't help.
