I have recently noticed that the screen on my Sager NP5165 has a red ghosting effect on some colors (especially white). For example, when my mouse cursor moves along a solid black background, it will make a red trail. Here's a picture of what i mean: http://i.imgur.com/0O5vF.jpg

In the picture, skype is already minimized and the window is burnt in but not permanently so it takes 1 second to fade away.

Is this the work of transient image persistence or is it something else? I have been noticing this a few times and it has been quite bothersome.
