So I just recieved my 9130 today! But I'm unfortunately having trouble with the hard drive caddy.
Finally figured out how to open it, then discovered the hard drive that came with it isn't fitting, theres two little screws on the two sides that hold a plastic protector to the drive. These screws prevent me from sliding the hard drive in to the SATA port.

Can I remove these screws safely? or will the lack of plastic sleeve endanger the harddrive

Remove the two big screws. Then they should fit. Just did this last night.

Yup, I just popped hte cover off mine to confirm, and the two side screws and plastic cover can be safely removed. They are not part of the hard drive itself, but something they added, looks like for protection/vibration reduction.
