    Hi,

i try to get 3d-Vision Kit running at P150HM with GTX580M.

    I changed the TFT-Display to a 120Hz from a W860CU-3D.

But when i install NVIDIA Drivers it is not possible to activate 3d-vision. So i could not see it at nvidia contral panel. (290.36)

When i click "Enable 3D Vision" nothing starts. IR Emitter is installed and the lamp is green.

    Could you help me pls?

    thx
    Michael

Is it a Nvidia certified 120hz display? 3D Vision doesn't work with all 120hz models- just those that have been tested and approved.

Did you reinstall the drivers after swapping out the display?

Maybe it needs the video bios for the W860CU-3D to function. DO that at your own risk though. Open the new bios in radeon bios editor to make sure its a valid bios before installing/. The 3D is not that big of a deal to me. I bought a kit and never use it.

    Hey,

It doesn't work because the 3D Whitelist is based on the Video Card + Screen at the same time. So while the items may be working individually its the COMBINATION that has to be whitelisted by nV. Thats the same reason why it took the 580m a driver revision to get certified on the P170.

So it'll take a begging of nV to say the 15" screen + the 580m is ok. And you have to remember the subsystemID on the card is model+manufacturer specific.

thx for your comments! I think there is no chance to get it running because of the nvidia restriction.
