So the things I'm having trouble on deciding whether to upgrade to or not are:
The 95% Gamut Matte Screen
The network card.
I'm trying to keep my build around $1200 the best I can while being able to keep an i7(IB) processor, 500gb 7200 rpm HDD, 1920x1080 res matte screen, at least 8GB of ram, and a GTX670.
So my questions are:
Is the screen upgrade worth getting? Is the difference that noticeable?
How much difference might I see between the stock wireless card compared to the upgraded ones like the Killer 1103 or Intel 6300? (I don't use bluetooth)

The wireless card is only half of the battle. The place from which the signal is coming also has a big effect on how it runs. Unless you will be somewhere where a good wireless card will make a difference, just do a wired connection. Also, to stay within the price range, remember the OS. They don't include it automatically, so if you want one pre-installed figure that in to the total price too. The difference in the screens is partially personal preference. Some people like how cheaper screens work, some screens will have better battery life. What exactly do you mean by noticeable?

I was having a similar dilemma. Unless you get a chance to experience the two screens side by side first hand there is no way to be absolutely which you will like more. For me, I know that 95% Gamut is suppose to be better, but I was trying to decide if the stock screen was "good enough" for me.
From my research I decided to go with stock to save some money. It seems that the NP 9130 has better gamut than your average screen that you fill find in most laptops. I think you can expect something similar to Asus G75 which you can check out for yourself at your local Best Buy. Compare that to a Dell UltraSharp U3011 30-inch monitor (over 90% gamut) and other low end laptops. -

Myself, I am colorblind and have an astigmatism, so I can't really say what makes a screen look the best in terms of clarity or color. Are they all 60hz or 120hz? If the stock is 60hz and the better ones are 120hz, that would be a noticeable difference.

120 Hz is the future, but I prefer color fidelity any day of the week. -

I'm also "color deficient" not quite color blind, and have an astigmatism, so maybe it's really not that big of a deal for me -
Oh, and I have a Win7 key/disk to set it up with already, so no worry there.

Thats just nonsense. Which stock screen you get is a complete gamble depending on the reseller and which screen the current stock is built with. Some resellers occasionally even build in the 95% Matte AUO B156HW01 V.4 (as some Norwegian member reported but this is rare) some got the god awful new AUO screens in latest shipments, most are the average V.1. Id recommend getting the V.4. The difference is major - i had the V.1 and upgraded to the V.4 myself so i can tell you first hand its worth the extra investment. Colors really pop out more, its really vivid, its brighter and the blacks are actually black. The viewing angles are also a bit better.

Thanks for the reply.

I get awesome reception with the Intel 6300. Better range...
