Can the 2GB IntelĀ® Robson Turbo Memory II hurt performance even if it doesn't improve it?
-
So far, it is said that the benefits are indeed favouring the second generation of the robson memory.
The drag and drop feature makes things interesting and it is said to actually decrease load times for a change.
However, I will expect a user review before further enhancing my statement. -
If money was not an issue, you would get it right?
-
you can always add them later, just like adding RAMs.
-
lol, yeah. It seems like intel would atleast improve that lowering performance issue. If 45 bucks is nothing on you, go for it and tell us your thoughts when you get it.
-
Maybe I will. Right now, I just hope I don't receive a defective system that is all.
-
im going to get it in mine i hope is worth it 45$ is not alot just to test it out lets see if it gives better preformance give us some good info if you find any
-
It sounds like a load of crap to be honest.
I can see there would be some improvement if it was larger in size. Like 4gb where 3gb can be dedicated for your most used applications like ie: firefox, MS word, yahoo, msn, etc. The 1gb stick is way too small (esp. 512kb is reserved for the quick reboot). -
ive had both cards now.
1gb was total pants in the m15x
2gb in my nexus 8660. this also had an issue/glitch with the fingerprint reader. have to load turbo first but i done it the other way round and it somehow deleated the turbo drivers.
i found a very simple fix. took it back to kobalt on friday and got them to rip the turbo card out. sorted. will never have a problem with the turbo memory ever again. -
Hopefully by the time I get my blu ray drive and turbo memory from PCMicroWorks, these problems would be rectified.
