    It's automatically applied based on the heat and power specs of the chip.
    Use CPUZ to make sure its working as intended.

    There is no option. Your CPU should Turbo based on your usage. If you have say, the 2720QM, it can turbo up to 3.4ghz on one core, ~2.8 on 2, and ~2.6 on all 4. The length of time it can go at that speed is determined by the heat generated and overall temp of the cores.

    CPUz will let you monitor your frequencies, but as long as your heat is at normal levels, the turbo should be already applied to certain tasks.

    You'd have to find a way to cram another 4 cores on them to get 8 total :p Unless you were referring to 8 threads.
