    Hello everybody!

By a quick look at the Service Manual it seems to me that they share the same motherboard and BIOS so I was wondering if it could be possible to turn a P870KM into a P870KM-G simply by installing a whitelisted gsynch display and a gsync gpu. Problably it s not as easy as it looks to me :D I d appreciate if you could shed some light and share info or links to threads that might be of interest ( if you are wondering ..yeah I did my homework but search didnt help much) Thanks in advance!

You will need the right bios and a g-sync gpu.

by "right bios" do you mean a modified bios or even the Clevo official bios? From what I found P870KM and P870KM-G share the same BIOS , they dont have different BIOS updates.

Speaking of GPU..a not gsync 1070 flashed with a 1070 gsync VBIOS might do the trick?

Thanks in advance for the replies :)

No there are minor hardware differences on the gpus, so a new gpu is necessary making it not worth it for most people.

Thank you for the quick reply.

What about the BIOS? What do you mean by "right bios" ? (official clevo bios would work?)

The bios will need to be from a time to match the panel.

Say the panel is added later on in the run you may ot have g-sync with the initial bios.
