How do I turn off the trackpad tapping feature in the 5760 (when you tap on the surface of the trackpad and it acts like you have clicked on the left mouse button)?

Jason, that is one of the beauties of a touchpad. Instead of turning it off, I would recommend going into Mouse Properties and learning all of the programming you can do with it. They are very powerful and will increase your productivity if you just learn how to use them.

I for one will NEVER go back to a mouse for anything other than gaming.

Agreed. While it is taking me a long time to get comfortable with the touchpad on my 6630, i love the tapping feature. I rarely have to use the left button anymore.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to disable it?

Jason, read the manual ;). All the Fkey do something, even the ones with no symbols. DOn't worry, I did not either and saw this in a recent post...
Fn-F1 toggle the trackpad (can't get used to it either...)
Fn-F2 is supposed to toggle fans, though I notice no differences...
    Fn-F10 toggles the CAM
    Fn-F12 toggles Blutooth

I turned off the tapping feature, I guess I must've missed the checkbox for it the first time I looked at the mouse properties.

I suppose I could get used to the tapping feature, but I find that it is too sensitive and there are times that it accidentally clicks on something when I don't want it to.

I might buy a Bluetooth mouse anyways, I've always felt more comfortable using a mouse.
