How is the tv tuner quality in the 5760 and 5750? I am very interested in buying one.

pretty much all TV tuners for these notebooks are all analog with cable TV and off-air signals aren't the greatest compared to DVD movies or HD broadcasts, which has yet to appear on notebooks except for using external HDTV tuners.

The LifeView FlyDVB-T Hybrid card in the sagers is HD and it looks fantastic when viewing High Definition DVB-T signals. I don't know what kind of tv system your using in the USA but in Australia it works well on SD and HD. Note that the lifeview doesn't support MCE but just install Media Portal instead and it does the same thing.
I purchased mine to use as a gaming machine and a HTPC (Home theatre PC) and the tv tuner does everything I need it to do and the picture quality is excellent.

vetrun,
I was told by LifeView Technical Support that the LifeView FlyDVB-T Hybrid Mini is unable to receive Terrestrial (Over the Air) Digital Channels in the USA/North America region. It can receive Digital Channels in Europe/Australia/etc. Is this tech full of crap? I was looking at returning this product. Please reply.

No it isn't Spinner. North America decided to choose a different type of over the air digital signal (ATSC) instead of DVB. DVB is mostly used in Europe. It's just a shame that Clevo rebranders put this in our machines. Heck they probably don't know either, but I recommend not taking the tuner, unless you can get it for very cheap.
I just discovered this this morning as I try to make my **** work for something that looks just acceptable.

Interesting. I guess that means that if your not in a place with DVB-T it won't work for digital tv.

Oh just wanted to add for spinner that this card is hybrid though. You'll be able to catch up analog over the air signals or analog cable.
Sorry for the big image, but only take the tuner according to this map where DVB_T is available.
Hey I just read somewhere that digital broadcastng acceptance in north america is slowed down because of cable and satellite easy availability.
Oh well. I will try to make media portal work with analog cable signal. I'm probably just missing one setting somewhere. -
SO, lets get back to the original question. Is tv quality good? I mean is it comparable to a regular tv set worse/better?

Probably worse than what you would see on a standard TV set.

If you run it Full Screen it will be grainy, but if you keep it in its window you can size it to virtually full screen and it will stay crisp and clear.
The trick is to keep it in its window and never run it at Full Screen -
Thanks thats all i wanted to know

Just remember than basic TV signals are displayed at 320x240. Maximize that a couple times to fit in 1920x1200 and sure you'll see lots of unwanted stuff that somehow TVs can possibly filter.
Honeslty, same some money and don't get this one (lifeview). Or at least see if they have another offering for the Clevo.
