I'd never heard of them till coming here, but I like the way their laptops look and really like the features they offer. They are certainly something I'm considering. However, being they are not a major brad I've two questions:
1) How easy is it to get parts for them? I do computer support for a living so I'm fine with working on a broken computer. For a desktop, this is easy, Newegg sells me anything I need. For a laptop, well, that's different. So, are Clevo's the sort of thing you can get parts for? If so, from where?
2) Who would you recommend buying from, if I do elect to get one?
Thanks.

i´ve heard good comments about rj tech ( www.rjtech.com) they sell clevo parts, barebones and all parts.

1) It is easy. The only thing that might be harder to do is applying thermal paste; it can be a little tricky since the dies are smaller.
2) R&J Technology, Clevo Barebone Notebook kits, Laptop and desktop system builder is good -
For a Clevo, the only notebook-specific parts you'll need to find are available at rjtech. Best example being a replacement GPU.
RAM, HDD, CPU, etc. are all easily upgraded and do not need to be purchased from anywhere specific. You could get those parts from NewEgg. -

A number of us bought from GenTech Computers. Excellent service and advice. Ken Lee is the man to deal with, and he is often on these forums. Dealer for Sager -- Clevo reseller.

I've ordered parts from rjtech in the past with no issues.
