    1. How long has it usually taken for Clevo resellers in Europe to make available notebooks featuring the new-generation NVidia GPU's from the release of the GPU?

    2. Which Clevo chassis is the most representative of Clevo in your view - in terms of product engineering, build quality and capabilities?

    1. If I remember correctly, the last gen was released at very much the same time in the EU and US.
    2. Probably the P series, all of them. Customisable, bland looking and pretty solid which pretty much epitomises Clevo for me.

    1. That wasn't the question I was asking. I'm asking how long it takes for resellers to intro the GPU's after NVIDIA releases them - i.e. how long it has historically taken resellers to make available these GPU's on the respective Clevos after NVidia makes the availability announcement.

Yes, but when it makes the announcement isn't when it's actually released or available in enough quantity to distritube. Clearly they can be released in limited supply or encounter issues such as the 7970m did. Clevo does seem to try to provide the mxm cards fairly fast though.

pretty sure NDAs are used in order to facilitate immediate availability upon release.

no comment on your second question.

    1) yup, NDA ruling comes into it. suppliers cant talk about them until NDA has been lifted. in the past certain suppliers and certain cards have already been delivered to the supplier for immediate dispatch on official release date. other times there has been long delays due to faulty batch of cards but that wasnt just europe but the whole world.

    2) i can only go from what ive bought but my m860tu is still going strong after 6 years and that was built like a tank.
also as Tmets said, the P series would be next on that list. might be why i bought them both.
