I ordered a Sager 9262 last week from Discountlaptops and had the shipping terms--UPS Next day Air. I got the tracking number last night. It shows that at 4:40 on Feb 12th there was a pickup scan in Baldwin Park CA (being shipped to NC). Well it doesnt look like I will receive the laptop today. Shouldn't have I received it today since they picked it up yesterday and I had it shipped next day air? I spent a lot of money to get it shipped next day and now it seems like it will be two days before I get it. Has anybody run into this before? Thanks for your help.

It may have been delayed due to weather. A huge storm just swept through the midwest and in to the northeast.

I've had that happen to me a lot. So now I never choose next day. 2nd day... 1 more day won't kill me.

Call up UPS (1-800-PICK-UPS) and ask why it was delayed. If the delay was NOT weather-related, you can file a claim (or, rather, the seller can) and get some money back. If the company you bought it from is "good", they should pass most/all of those savings back to you.

    Regards,

Even if they're a bad company they'll pass the savings on to you - if you paid with a credit card at least :) If you pay for Next Day Air, and the item fails and the seller receives credit for you, they don't have much of a choice but to pass it on to you. If they don't, just dispute that amount with the CC company.
