    hey,
    1.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the US to Euro/Netherlands shipping costs are at xoticpc, powernotebooks, m-techlaptops.com .

    2.
And also; who knows what the customs fees are when your laptop crosses the border from the US to the Netherlands?

    3.
and a non related question here:
which reseller gives me the option to buy the notebook without RAM?
    ( i don't want a barebone )
at xoticpc, the 4GB RAM in the m570RU, is the 4gb of a slower type than
when i order 2GB? as in latencys...

    4.
Can anybody tell me what brand RAM the resellers put in, and if it's a noticeable difference what ram you insert.

    5.
What RAM is best to buy ( read: fastest ) when i look at 4GB. some kingston or corsair ddr2? i don't see that listed at the HOT RAM DEALS thread.

    Derq.

    1. I dont know what the different shops will charge you but UPS would cost about €50.

    2. You have to pay the VAT (sales tax) for the Netherlands (19% ;) plus a service charge.

    3. You can ask them to make you a price without ram. Or you can get a barebone and equipe it with a CPU and wifi card and whatever else is missing.

    4. I think if they dont advertise any special brand it will change. They will look for a good ram deal and buy a bunch of them and use them till it runs out and then look for another good deal.

    5. For notebooks ram brand doesnt matter too much. You cant over clock them anyway. There is no differance in performance.
